It's tough for Australia to achieve unprecedented feats.

The highest peaks have already been conquered.

This is the unit that has won seven Cricket World Cups, in addition to an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a team that has achieved everything.

The fact it required up to Sunday's three-wicket win over India for them to complete their first ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the highest in the female 50-over format, is, honestly, a testament to the bowlers that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batters to possess a record if never given the opportunity.

Ultimately, the consequence of Australia allowing 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy getting an opportunity to produce her newest gem.

She reached fifty in 35 balls - her swiftest at a World Cup - and her hundred in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, hitting 21 fours and three sixes.

When she was out her side required another 66 at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"Pursuing 330 is uncharted waters so I'm pleased we have the belief to achieve that now," stated Healy further.

"Ideally we won't need to repeat it but, if necessary, we are confident we can succeed."

That comment will be the last rival teams at this championship want to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will win from any position has only strengthened - this triumph following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Subsequently Australia meet Bangladesh before an encounter with longtime competitors England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final berth may well be secure.
